Most frequent questions and answers

Am I required to purchase the maintenance plan?

Nope! But you will be responsible for your software updates, licenses, spam control, website content updates, and security. We can, however, assist you with one-off projects at a fixed rate.

Keep in mind that we’ve created our Maintenance Plan to provide you with the most services at the best price. You will find that you get more value for your budget on a monthly plan.

If Ventus Design Studio is building your website, it is required that you are on our Hosting Plan. Every website on the internet needs to be hosted somewhere, and we only work with our high-quality, trusted host.

How am I billed?

All of our monthly plans are auto-billed with a credit or debit card on file. You are billed monthly on the same day you sign up. We use Stripe for our payment plans. They are PCI-certified and incredibly secure.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes! Simply contact us here. We will immediately cancel your subscription, remove your website from your monthly plan, and cancel future billing. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for unused time.

Can you guarantee my website will never be hacked?

There’s nothing that can 100% prevent a website from being hacked. Even sites like Twitter and Facebook are subject to hacking. This is why backups and security updates are so important. When you sign up with our Maintenance Plan we do everything we can to make sure your site is up to date, safe, and secure.

Can be on your Maintenance Plan while my website is hosted somewhere else?

Not at this time. We work exclusively with a high-quality host that we trust and have years of experience with. This is how we are able to offer our clients the highest level of service at the most affordable cost.

What is included with Unlimited Content Edits?

It covers anything that takes 30 minutes or less to resolve, and can generally be handled with the admin panel of your WordPress site. Most of our clients use this for adding blog posts, updating business information, adding photos, and updating product prices.
